We are hiring: WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) Officer - Chisinau / Edinet

The purpose of the WASH Officer position is to implement WASH Project program in the field.
The WASH Officer is responsible for assessment of the area, plan, implement and monitoring
of the project, make coordination meetings with communities, stakeholder, and beneficiaries
on project sites and implementation of the activities. Prepare designs for all WASH
infrastructures

Salary: 20 000 lei
Schedule: Full-time
Experience: 1-2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical study or experience in water supply or civil engineering.
• Relevant position experience in WASH
• Experience with International NGOs, UN Agencies or other International funded projects.
• Knowledge and communication skill of English -Romanian -language
• Good cultural, social, political and security knowledge of the area.
• Have computer office programs, designing programs and other relevant software skills.
• To be able to document results related to the position’s responsibilities.
• Experience in hygiene promotion and hygiene kits distribution, engineering, environmental engineering and water management engineering background.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Implement delegated Core Competency project portfolio according to plan of action
•  
• Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
• Ensure proper filing of documents
• Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist
• Promote and share ideas for technical improvement
• Development of holistic and needs based programmers, including cash-based interventions and marked based program

The selection procedure consists of the following steps:

• Collection of submitted CVs during the period until the deadline specified in the announcement (all CVs sent in accordance with the requirements are considered).
• CV-analyzing the resumes based on the vacancy requirements.
• Formation of a list of potential candidates, based on the score after CV-analysis.
• Pre-interview by phone (just to clarify some details).
• Invitation of candidates with a sufficiently high score after CV-analysis for a test.
• Notification of the test results (within 1 week) and if the test is passed successfully invitation for an interview.
• After the interview, sending a decision on the candidate (positive or negative), takes  within 1 week.
