People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. It is one of the largest reliefs and development organizations in post-communist Europe and has administered projects in 37 countries over the past 30 years. Position Overview:
Logistic Support/Driver is based in Chisinau with travels into the regional offices. The Logistic Support/Driver will act as a support team member to arrange smooth fleet/movement operation, base, and regional office management, and also will be conducting trips in the field and project sites as per the schedule.
The Logistic Support/Driver position primarily focuses on logistics assistance (60%) and includes supporting procurement, fleet operation, base management, regional office administration, vehicle tracking, and maintenance (repairs, seasonal operations, and purchases). The driver’s responsibilities (40%) involve adhering to transport policies, driving safely, maintaining the vehicle's condition, following road regulations, and ensuring passengers' safety.
