PROGRAM BACKGROUND

Handicap International “HI” (operating as Humanity & Inclusion) is an independent and impartial international aid organization working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. Working alongside persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, our action and testimony are focused on responding to their essential needs, improving their living conditions and promoting respect for their dignity and their fundamental rights.
HI is currently opening a multi-sectoral life-saving assistance to displaced and non-displaced populations in Ukraine such as : Protection, shelter, health, NFIs, food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation, hygiene, and education and strengthening and supporting access to mental health and psychosocial support; provision of basic and domestic items including food, unrestricted cash assistance, and core relief items.

General Mission

Under the Logistic Manager’s supervision and as part of the support unit, the Cleaner & Cook main role will be the cleanliness and the upkeep the Guest House, and to cook one menu per day.

• Cleaning:
• General tasks: ا
• Maintains the guesthouse spaces clean and tidy
• Reports monthly if stocks, of cleaning material, drinking water, other supplies are low, and need to be replaced

Daily task:

• Sweep (every day) and wash (three times a week, with clean water and detergent) the floor of the guest house. This include rooms, balconies, corridors and stairs;
• Keep the kitchen clean (clean the dishes, remove trashes …)
• Wash and ensure hygiene in the bathrooms

Weekly tasks:

• Wash bedlinens and towels of all rooms
• Dust furniture and equipment
• Clean the windows
• Request needed items for the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises (water, cleaning and hygiene products, toilet paper, tools …) to the logistic department after validation of line Manager
• Reports the needs of repairs or renovations in the premises

• Cooking:
• General task: ا                    
• Make a menu for the week
• Runs errands, ( buys food/grocery )
• Cook the menu.

The cleaner and Cook must inform his line Manager about all unpleasant manners regarding the cleanliness and the smooth functioning of the premises.

PROFILE SOUGHT

Salary: 4 800 – 6 200 MDL per month

Duration of Contract: 4 months with possibility of renewal
