The Organization
Alliance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises from Moldova (AIM) is a small and medium-sized business community working together toward common goals that will develop a clear and understandable business-legal environment, in order to promote economic growth and investment in the Republic of Moldova.
AIM is a membership-based organization composed of over 50 companies. Our mission is to advance and protect the general welfare and prosperity of small and medium-sized businesses and those doing business with small & medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Moldova so that the business community and its citizens shall prosper.
Job Description
AIM is seeking a Legal Advisor in the framework of the Project “To enable small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Moldova to develop and institutionalize business integrity and anti-corruption compliance standards”, funded by CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprise).
Job responsibilities:
- Provide individual consultancy services to small and medium-sized businesses
- Participate in AIM meetings and events with entrepreneurs
- Contribute to the creation of Position Papers on relevant legislative proposals
- Assist and represent AIM in the meetings with the authorities at the Prime Minister's Economic Council, Consultative Council of SMEs and other dialogue platforms.
Skills / Experience
- Master’s degree in Law;
- Proven experience in legal consultancy
- Strong knowledge of the Moldovan legal and regulatory framework in the field of the economy;
- Analytical and legal writing skills;
- Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and to present ideas clearly and effectively;
- Knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written;
Time commitment is approximately 10 hours per week.
