Helvetas Moldova in the frame of its Optim project is looking for a local communication consultant to support the project communication, outreach, and visibility activities.
BACKGROUND
The ‘‘Optim - Opportunities through Technologies and Innovation in Moldova’’ is a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation SDC, implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.The project works with two strategic partners. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova CCI and international organization Mesopartner.
Optim is a market system development project that aims to stimulate selected market systems in Moldova, so they generate improved economic opportunities in a sustained way, benefitting women and men, particularly those from excluded groups (youth, returning migrants, ethnic minorities) and those living outside the capital Chisinau.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Team Lead/ Programme and Knowledge Lead, and with the guidance of the Opportunity Fund Manager, MRM Specialist, and Sector Coordinators, the Consultant will provide effective communication support, tools, and products by working directly with the Optim staff, project’s beneficiaries and partners to capture compelling highlights and project achievements. A core function of the consultant’s role is designing and implementing innovative and well-targeted digital communications measures on social media and beyond, seeking new opportunities for effective engagement and disseminating cogent content.
