Skat Consulting Ltd. invites motivated and qualified candidates with a background in Civil Engineering to apply for the position of Project Engineer in the Integrated water and sanitation in Moldovan villages Project (ApaSan+), which Skat Consulting Ltd is implementing in the Republic of Moldova.

Since more than 12 years Skat is supporting local public administrations in Moldova and neighboring countries.
The ApaSan+ project aims at improving water supply and sanitation infrastructure and services in selected Moldovan villages, by demonstrating innovative technologies and managerial set-ups that are affordable and replicable. The project builds on the experience and results of the successful ApaSan project (2011-2019, www.apasan.skat.ch). The ApaSan+ project is financed by the Austrian Development Agency, with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation, and is implemented through the Fundatia Centrul Moldo-Elvețian pentru Cooperare SKAT, a legal entity registered in the Republic of Moldova.
Objective of the position
The Project Engineer’s main responsibility within the Project is the coordination of pilot sanitation interventions, including the development and implementation of technically and economically appropriate solutions for rural localities, community mobilization, documentation and dissemination (nationally), liaising with national and raional agencies for obtaining of permits, needs assessments and collaboration agreements with local and regional operators. He/she will also be assigned selected tasks related to rural water supply projects, in any phase of the project cycle (planning – implementation – monitoring). The position is a full-time one (100%).

The position is to be filled for the project duration until October 2023 and start as soon as the potential candidate will be selected.
