Position Mandate

Resonance is seeking candidates to be available to work on the anticipated USAID Moldova Future Technologies Activity. The Activity will focus on improving the competitiveness of the leading private sector growth sectors, including the light manufacturing, ICT, precision engineering, creative industries, and digital media. It will do so by facilitating sustainable partnerships between the Moldovan business associations, centers of excellence, and similar institutions and anchor firms, and the regional and international business associations and investors. It will improve the productivity and export sophistication of local companies, foster the introduction of green technologies, enhance access to affordable finance, and create a labor force that is better aligned with the private sector needs, especially for youth, women, and vulnerable populations.

These are full-time positions based in Chisinau contingent upon contract. Successful candidates will report to relevant project leadership.

Candidates with mid- and senior-level experience in the following technical and functional areas should submit their CVs for consideration:

Required Education and Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant experience relating to the management or implementation of donor-funded economic growth projects in Moldova or the former Soviet Union, or the equivalent experience in the private sector
  • 5+ years of experience working independently to meet deadlines and quality expectations, as well as part of a larger team for multi-component assignments
  • Demonstrably excellent written and oral communication skills in Romanian or Russian, and English
  • Professional flexibility and humility to meet the fast-paced nature of a USAID-funded project

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Extensive experience working in the context of USAID projects and/or engaging with USAID/Moldova or other donors is preferred.
