Request for Expression of Interest

Background: 

People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. It is one of the largest relief and development organizations in post-communist Europe and has administered projects in 37 countries over the past 20 years. People in Need has been working in Moldova since 2008, implementing projects in the field of economic development, organic agriculture, civil society, and youth development and education. 

Requested services: 

PIN is looking for professional translation/interpretation services.

Please, present the bids for the official offers: for written translation, verbal interpretation (simultaneous and/or consecutive), all the related services specifying price for the following translations: English to Romanian and Romanian to English, English to Russian and Russian to English

Requirements:

• Prompt and accurate written translation of the required materials (documents, etc.) within the agreed timeframe and/or
• Qualitative simultaneous/ consecutive interpretation, with a responsible approach.
• High degree of cooperation, flexibility, and effective communication

• Minimum experience in providing written and oral translation services – 2 years;
• Professional translators/interpreters: minimum 2 translators/interpreters for the required language

Deadline for applications: 11.03.2021, 10.00 AM 

All the documents should be presented in English and prices specified in MDL, VAT 0%.

Application package for legal entities/agencies will include: 

• Registration certificate
• The financial offer with description of activities and estimation of prices (including the table below), signed and dated, valid at least 30 days from the application.
• 2 Recommendation letters from previous assignments 

Application package for natural persons agencies will include

• Curriculum Vitae  
• A short Cover Letter in English (up to one page)
• The financial offer with description of activities and estimation of prices (including the table below), signed and dated, valid at least 30 days from the application.
• 2 Recommendation letters from previous assignments 

If there are any additional fees not reflected in the table below, such pricing must be fully described in the bid.

Selection criteria of the Offer will be as follows: 

• The best offer price (50%) 
• Proven relevant experience (50%) 

One or more providers can be selected. A one-year contract will be signed as to require services upon necessity.
