People in Need is hiring an Education Project Assistant/ Officer



Working under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Assistant/Officer will support the education and child protection programme response to the Ukrainian refugee crisis, assisting the overall project administration, procurement, coordination of events and activities, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and other on demand tasks of the Country Programme, under the PLACE, and DEDAL projects.

Duty Station - Chisinau, with periodical travel to other project destinations throughout Moldova.

Salary range - 17550,00 – 24960,00 MDL brut, based on experience and profile

Expected Duration of Assignment - 01/10/2024 - 31/05/2025

Education & Work Experience:

  • Higher education degree in Education or Pedagogy is highly preferred;
  • Internship and/or relevant experience with either international organizations, national civil society organizations, or educational institutions;
  • 3 years of experience, 1 year of experience in the NGO sector in positions that entail responsibility for project activity implementation or support of local partners; experience in managing/supporting education projects highly preferred;
  • Languages: English(required); Romanian/ Russian(desirable);
