Chef/Wait Staff - High Level Official

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, creative and fully qualified chef to produce both outstanding meals and receptions and to create an enhanced dining experience for our guests.

BASIC FUNCTION: 

Duties include but are not limited to planning, budgeting, shopping, preparing and presenting meals for the official and for events of 2 to 100 influential guests. The Chef will plan and coordinate official events to include staffing, menu preparation, table/seating arrangements, ordering and purchasing needed items, supervising wait staff, and orchestrating the event.

Repertoire must include a diverse range of cooking styles and meal types; of particular importance is the ability to create versatile international and American meals. 

As required assists with cleaning and serving under the supervision of the Residence Manager. All responsibilities shall be completed on time, and in a manner representing the highest standards. 


QUALIFICATIONS: 
•At least three years of culinary experience in a restaurant/diplomatic/official or similar setting is required 
•Associate Degree or completion of culinary/catering certificate program or in the absence of an Associate Degree, five years of culinary experience in a diplomatic/official or restaurant setting

•Must be able to read, write, and speak English well
•Must have initiative, good interpersonal skills and flexibility 

WHO MAY APPLY: 
All applicants must have the required work/residency permits be able to legally work in Moldova and be eligible for appointment under Moldova’s local labor laws. No visa support will be provided to foreign/non-Moldovan applicants.

Chef/Persoana Deservire pentru Reședință Diplomatică

 

Cerinţe:

a) Studii: Studii specifice culinare. 

b) Experienţă: Cel puțin trei ani în mediu similar sau într-o funcţie culinară și de deservire a clienţilor, de preferinţă la hotel sau restaurant. 

c) Limbi: Cunoaşterea limbii engleze este obligatorie. Cunoaşterea bună a limbilor română şi/sau rusă va fi un avantaj.

d) Aptitudini şi calificări:

Trebuie sa aibă aptitudini culinare bune pentru prepararea bucatelor de stil divers (bucătărie americană, europeană, și altele). Persoana trebuie să ştie a servi oaspeţii la recepţii şi alte evenimente oficiale, trebuie sa fie inventivă în prepararea bucatelor noi şi receptivă la învăţarea reţetelor noi.

Toate responsabilitățile trebuie finalizate la timp și la cele mai înalte standarde.

Требования к кандидату
а) Образование: Среднее или высшее специальное (кулинария, общественное питание)

б) Опыт работы:  Минимум 3 года, предпочтительно в сфере кулинарии и обслуживании клиентов (желательно в отеле или ресторане).

в) Языки: Знание английского языка обязательно. Так же желательно хорошее владение румынским и русским.

г) Навыки и квалификация: 

Успешный кандидат должен иметь хорошие навыки приготовления различных блюд европейской и американской кухни, а так же опыт обслуживания гостей на банкетах, приемах и других официальных мероприятиях; кандидат должен быть креативным в разработке новых блюд и открытым для изучения новых рецептов.

Все обязанности должны быть выполнены в срок и в соответствии с самыми высокими стандартами.
