The Press Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova requires the services of an experienced photographer to produce visual materials to contribute to a better visibility of the OSCE Mission to Moldova and its activities.

OSCE Mission to Moldova is looking to enrich its roster of Photographers from both banks of the Dniester/Nistru River.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The photographer will be tasked to attend selected OSCE events in and outside the country and produce high quality photographs in both high and low-resolution format (ready-to-use both for print and Internet posting) as well as produce short video clips.

  • The photographs will be provided as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours after the event. A set of 5 best pictures for immediate use needs to be provided to the Press Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova over e-mail no later than two hours upon completion of a photo session.
  • All photographs shall be provided in digital format to the Press Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova on portable data storage devices, e.g., hard drive, flash disk, or CD.
  • The photographs are expected to objectively reflect the format, aim and the character of the event/activity.
  • The images shall conform to the photography reporting ethics.
  • Short video clips (up to 5 minutes long) will be provided in a high quality on portable data storage devices. Details of video shooting sessions will be discussed in advance of an event.
  • All photo and video products produced at the request of the OSCE will be an OSCE property.

Required Qualifications:

  • A professional photographer with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in reportage photography/ photojournalism;
  • The necessary equipment to perform the tasks and produce the deliverables;
  • Awareness and/or experience of the OSCE Mission to Moldova activities;
  • Reliability, punctuality and creativity;
  • Prior experience of video shooting is an asset;
  • Experience with international organizations is an asset;


Remuneration will depend on the qualifications and experience of individual expert as well as the detailed work plan to be agreed upon and will be based on the current OSCE consultancy rates.
