Get support from the EBRD and the Moldova Competitiveness Project for IT projects to develop your business, funded by European Union under the EU4Business initiative, USAID and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

The Advice for Small Businesses team of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (ASB EBRD) and Moldova Competitiveness Project are launching a joint campaign supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to implement IT projects aimed at increasing productivity and sales, optimising the costs, expanding market, export development and creating new business models.

Through this cooperation, eligible businesses can access complex IT consultancy services, including:

-          Financial Management Information Systems,

-          Customer Relationship Management Systems (RCM),

-          Enterprise Resource Planning Information Systems (ERP),

-          Information Systems for Increasing Production Efficiency such as Computer-aided Design (CAD),

-          Computer-aided Manufacturing Systems (CAM),

-          Stock Analysis and Management Information Systems,

-          Document Management Systems,

-          Sales Management Systems, Card and Ad Programme Management Systems,

-          Supplier Relationship Management Information Systems,

-          Information Systems in Tourism,

-          Human Resources Management Systems;

-          Robotics and Automation of Production or Service Provision Cycles,

-          Electronic Trade Information Systems,

-          Online Ad Information Systems,

-          Information Systems for Biometric Authentication,

-          Magnetic Card Authentication Systems, NFC, etc.

For implementation of these consultancy projects, up to 50% of the total net project cost (excluding VAT), for a maximum 10,000 Euro, is reimbursed either by the EBRD or by Moldova Competitiveness Project, thanks to donor funding from the EU, Sida and USAID. The beneficiary SME covers the other 50% from its own sources. Up to two IT projects per enterprise can be supported simultaneously or consecutively by the Moldova Competitiveness Project and the other by the EBRD, with the condition that these projects include different activities.

Eligibility criteria:

-          Moldovan micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (between 9-249 employees; companies up to 500 employees may be funded in exceptional cases) working in any sector, except for Primary Agriculture, Immovable Property, Tobacco Production, Military Industry, Banking Services and Gambling Services;

-          At least 51% Moldovan ownership;

-          Fully privately-owned capital, operating in the Republic of Moldova;

-          At least two years of operations.

Consultants/Service Providers:

At least three proposals from Consultants/Service Providers and/or A Selection Memorandum (A Memorandum justifying the Consultant’s selection) will need to be provided by the applicant.
