AED is hiring a Project Assistant for Learning Materials Development

The NGO Educaţie pentru Dezvoltare (AED) is seeking a Project Assistant to support the development of learning materials. AED is looking for a creative, flexible person who will contribute to the development of different learning materials: including textual aids, learning videos, visuals for Vocational Education and Trainig sector.

The Project Assistant will provide organizational and technical expertise in designing and producing, together with teaching staff, practitioners and/or companies, engaging and suitable learning materials for several technical occupations such as Electricians, Plasterer. S/he will be supported by the AED team and specifically by the person, who works at creating learning materials. The ability to engage quickly with new technologies is important and excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.

Contract term: 100% full time equivalent

Position available as from: November 2017 (or as soon as possible after this date)

Duration: 31 June 2018 with the possibility of extension

Qualifications and Criteria:

  • Relevant University Degree
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good knowledge/abilities in planning, estimating effort, scheduling resources, identifying potential candidates for the work groups, and meeting the deadlines
  • Good computer skills in graphic design software and video editing software are an asset
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite (text, spreadsheets, presentations)
  • Willingness and ability to learn how to use a range of multimedia software applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work proactively on a team or independently and to be focused on results
  • Fluency in one of the following languages (either German or English) is an asset
